Quick Veggie Hummus

A simple but yummy recipe to introduce flavours and legumes into bubs diet.
  • Ingredients

    Makes- Serves 4+

    1 Pouch Rafferty's Garden Smooth Carrot, Potato & Swede

    200gm Canned Chickpeas, drained and rinsed

    Optional: ¼ Tsp Garlic Powder


    Suitable for babies aged 6+ Months

    Storage tip:

    Keep in an air tight container in the fridge for up to 48 hours.

  • Method
    Step 1
    Squeeze the pouch into the cup of a blender followed by the chickpeas and garlic powder, if using.
    Step 2
    Blitz until smooth.
    Step 3
    Spoon into small bowls and serve with carrot sticks or teething rusks.

    I could freeze the rest in pods and they last longer.. my Bub loves this!! I definitely recommend the addition of garlic! I added tahini too - but tahini is a common allergen.. so only add if you are sure bubs not allergic to nuts etc..
